II. Applicability of the terms and conditions

II.1 These general conditions apply to all services, offers, invoices, and agreements concerning walking tours and bike tours offered by NDQ Services under the name Brugge Tours.

II.2 Using our services means you accept these terms. Don’t agree? Don’t use them.

II.3 Separate agreements override these terms if explicitly accepted by Brugge Tours. These general terms then serve as a fallback.

II.4 Brugge Tours may update these terms at any time. The latest version will be available at www.brugge.tours.

II.5 Invalid clauses won’t affect the rest. Invalid parts will be replaced by clauses reflecting the original intent.


III. Services

III.1 Brugge Tours offers guided walking and bike tours in Bruges and its surroundings, mainly from March to September.

III.2 All tour info and descriptions are listed on www.brugge.tours.

III.3 Tour times are indicative. Confirmed timings will be communicated before the tour.

III.4 Clients must follow Brugge Tours’ safety instructions at all times.

III.5 No smoking, eating, or drinking during the bike portion of the tours.

III.6 Group sizes and durations may vary due to traffic, weather, or other unexpected events.


IV. Booking and payment

IV.1 Bookings are made via www.brugge.tours unless agreed otherwise in writing.

IV.2 All prices are in euros and include VAT. Additional costs will be clearly stated.

IV.3 Tours must be paid in full upon booking unless otherwise agreed.

IV.4 Offers are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

IV.5 Invoices must be paid within 30 days unless a different term is mentioned.

IV.6 Late payments incur interest and recovery charges as outlined in Belgian law.

IV.7 Disputes over invoices must be reported in writing within 8 days by registered mail.

IV.8 Advance deposits may be required to confirm bookings.


V. Cancellation, rescheduling & refunds

V.1 Be on time. Delays may shorten the tour. No refunds for tardiness.

V.2 Cancel or reschedule by emailing or calling us at least 48 hours in advance.

V.3 Refunds:

  • Walking & Bike Tours: Full refund if cancelled 48+ hours in advance.
  • No refunds for late cancellations.
  • Costs already incurred (e.g. bookings or rentals) may be deducted from refunds.

V.4 Brugge Tours may cancel or stop a tour for safety, intoxication, rule-breaking, etc. In such cases, no refund is provided.

V.5 Tours may be altered or cancelled due to unforeseen events. Refunds (partial or full) will be given where appropriate.

V.6 Severe weather can lead to cancellation or rescheduling. A refund (partial or full) will be issued.


VI. Accessibility and health

VI.1 Tours involve walking or cycling. Not all routes are wheelchair accessible. No refunds or adjustments unless pre-agreed in writing.

VI.2 Inform us at booking of any mobility issues or medical conditions. We’ll do our best to accommodate.

VI.3 Adjustments may alter the program or timing and don’t result in price changes unless agreed.

VI.4 Disclose food allergies or intolerances when booking.


VII. Liability

VII.1 Brugge Tours is not liable for damages unless due to gross negligence.

VII.2 Clients are responsible for personal belongings. We are not liable for theft or loss.

VII.3 Allergic reactions or intolerance-related incidents are the responsibility of the client.

VII.4 In case of force majeure, Brugge Tours may suspend services with no refund obligation.

VII.5 Services already provided during force majeure are still payable.

VII.6 Our total liability is limited to the price paid for the tour.

VII.7 Clients must indemnify Brugge Tours for damages they cause.


VIII. Intellectual property

VIII.1 All materials provided by Brugge Tours remain its property. Clients may not reproduce or share them without written permission.


IX. Use of photos

IX.1 Participants consent to the use of photos and videos for promotional purposes. To have images removed, email info@brugge.tours.


X. Privacy

X.1 Personal data is collected for booking, communication, and customer service. Read our privacy and cookie policy at www.brugge.tours.


XI. Disputes

XI.1 Disputes will first try to be resolved amicably.

XI.2 If not, Belgian law applies and the courts of Kortrijk have jurisdiction.tion.
